Mitchell Day, 1957
Church of the Open Door/Biola, Los Angeles, CA
Mitchell Day was held on Easter Sunday, 1957 at Church of the Open Door/Biola with Dr. Louis Talbot moderating. The president of Biola, S.H. Sutherland hosted the service and led the singing. All Mitchell family missionaries returned home from their various mission fields and enjoyed sharing testimonies from the field, and leading the congregation in singing. Music was provided by Hubert Mitchell and his accordion. This followed a large family reunion at the Big Bear campground near Los Angeles. Click on the photos in the gallery below to enlarge them.
